The CAA has issued its  Airspace Modernisation Strategy 2022–2040 for consultation. This will replace the existing Airspace Modernisation Strategy (CAP 1711) that was published in December 2018.

It is proposed that the updated strategy will  be in three parts, plus an annex.

The CAA are seeking  views on drafts of Part 1 CAP 2298a and Part 2 CAP 2298b, and on what changes are needed to the annex explaining the strategy’s governance structure, currently CAP 1711b.  Part three  will be considered at a later date.
